For the attention of Luke Smith



Thanks for your email Luke - unfortunately I cannot 'login to Self-Care' as you suggest. Trying to login results in the Red message:



"Invalid email/password. Please remember passwords are case-sensitive; if your caps-lock is on this may cause you to enter your password incorrectly. If you have forgotten your password please click here to reset it."



If I use the 'click here' button and supply my internet username:    jb00210065@ blueyonder.co.uk - the page simply tells me that it dosn't recognise the email address.



I've set up the privacy as you suggested in your email, but this makes no difference.

As I said in my first complaint. I do feel like I'm going round in circles and getting nowhere fast so would you please sort this out. The facts are these:



1. I cannot login to self-care with the 'Internet Username' jb00210065 and 'Internet password' k16mrxqb.



2. I cannot 'register' my 'modem' (A Scientific Atlanta supplied/fitted by your engineer) by entering my postcode on the 'activation' web page - as previously noted this results in the error I've documented in my 2nd complaint and which you have attached to your email to me.



So I can make no progress whatsoever to setting up email etc.

Let me add that I have no problem accessing the web, or any other server I wish to.

My machine is a bog-standard PC about 18months old running XP with SP2. I've tried all the obvious things like switching off the firewall etc. but no joy. I have also tried the activation page from my other machine, running Ubuntu with a firefox browser and I get the same result - zilch.



I hope this can be sorted out soon.
