- HARDWARE CONSIDERATIONS

If you are using an HP IV/IVM LaserJet printer, you should select the
low resolution graphics option when printing GML Ultra Diagrams.
If you are using an HP DeskJet 500C or any other Color Printer,
you should select Black and White printout. GML Ultra does not currently
support color printing. If you are still having problems you may need to
get the Latest HP driver. Drivers previous to V1.27 for Windows 3.1 are
known to have problems with printing GML Ultra diagrams. Customers may
obtain the latest HP 4/4M Driver from HP at (303)339-7009. You
must have their HP 4 Serial Number to get the latest driver.

If you are using a Toshiba Satellite Portable PC, you should insure that
you are using the Standard VGA driver, not the Toshiba VGA Driver. The
Toshiba Video driver is known to cause Serial Port Lockups. Toshiba is
planning to address this problem in a future Toshiba Video Driver update.
Toshiba may be contacted at 1 (800)456-8649.

If you are using a Dell Latitude Portable PC, you should insure that
you are using the Standard VGA driver, not the Dell CL-GD VGA Driver. The
Dell Video driver is known to cause Serial Port Lockups. Dell is
planning to address this problem in a future Dell Video Driver update.
Dell may be contacted at 1 (800)971-3355 or BBS 1 (512)728-8528.

If you are using a NEC Versa PC, you should insure that your Serial Port
Idle option in the Power Management Options is set to Disabled. There is
a known problem with the NEC Versa Power Management Software which can
cause Windows to Lock Up, if the Serial Port is in use when the Serial Port
is forced OFF by the PC. NEC BIOS versions 1.03.00 ( without Trackball )
and 1.00.09 ( with Trackball ) should correct this problem. Contact NEC
  for a BIOS upgrade at 1 (800)388-8888.
