Thank you for using StickFont!

Using StickFont
===============

	This program takes a text string that you enter and creates a G-Code program suitable for running on a CNC controlled machine. This is perfect for engraving your company name, part numbers, serial numbers or anything else at all.

	You simply enter the text to convert along with settings that determine the text size, location and angle. You instantly get a preview of what the output text will look like. Then enter the settings for the G-Code output and click "Convert to G-Code". Enter a name for the output file and click "OK". That's it!

	In addition to the font G-Code, there are also settings for header and footer text. Any header text will be output before the font G-Code and any footer text will be output after. These settings are useful for adding additional program blocks that may be required by your particular CNC control.

Using the Preview Window
========================

	To pan, click and drag with the right mouse button on the preview window.

	To zoom in, press the "C" key or roll the mouse wheel.

	To zoom out, press the "V" key or roll the mouse wheel.

	To zoom extents, press the "X" key.

	To zoom window, press the "Z" key then click and drag a box around the area you want to zoom in on.

	The zoom keys only work while the preview window is "active". This just means you need to click it once to make it active before using the zoom keys.
